About This Blog

This blog is for unsigned Metal bands and bands on small labels. Whilst setting up my promotions company, I noticed that a lot of sites don't cover demo bands and bands just starting out. Hopefully this small corner of the internet will have redress the balance, ever so slightly

Short Blasts

Isenblast - Unleashing The Demon Scourge

These guys are not subtle. This 4 tracker from Detroit Black Metal horde, Isenblast let's rip from the off.

It mixes up a few Scandinavian flavours, a bit of Slayer and plenty of chaos. The vocals are like maniacal barks and the feeling of lunacy is never far from the surface.

I'm watching the tv series Oz at the minute, and playing this makes me feel like I've done 10 rounds with Adebisi, in the same way Schibetta did in that painful kitchen scene.

Apparently the band are working towards releasing an album in the next 12 months. Personally, I think short sharp shocks of 4 tracks in 20 minutes is a much better format for this kind of brutal assault.

Born Rude - Grand Disaster

For those of you aged 30 or younger, this new Indian band will remind you of Lamb of God. For all us oldies, it's Groove Metal in the vein of Pantera.

This is a great first single and I hope to hear more from the band soon

Hear the track at the bands Soundcloud page

And pay them a visit via Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/AnxietyDisorderRules

And if you like this kind of Metal or are just a fan of the strengthening Indian scene, I have released a cd single by Indian Groove Metallers, Eyes Of The Martyr, which you can get from my Big Cartel store http://sixsixsixmusic.bigcartel.com/
